Der Gevrey-Chambertin „Petite Chapelle“ 1er Cru von Bruno Clair ist ein Pinot Noir mit einer schönen Tanninstruktur und ausgeprägter Kraft. Boden: Comblanchien-Kalkstein und weiße Oolithe. Vinifikation: 30 bis 50 % Ganztrauben, 10 bis 15 Tage Maischegärung in Holzcuves. Ausbau: 18 bis 20 Monate in Eichenfässern, davon etwa 35 % neue Fässer.

The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru comprises two barrels this year. This has plenty of sous-bois on the nose that percolates through the red fruit, with touches of blood orange in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, silky smooth with just a patina of wood to be assimilated on the finish. Very good potential.
