Der Gevrey-Chambertin „Petite Chapelle“ 1er Cru von Bruno Clair ist ein Pinot Noir mit schöner Tanninstruktur und ausgeprägter Kraft. Boden: Kalkstein aus Comblanchien und weiße Oolithe. Vinifikation: 30 bis 50 % ganze Trauben, 10 bis 15 Tage Maischegärung in Holzcuves. Ausbau: 18 bis 20 Monate in Eichenfässern, davon etwa 35 % neue Fässer.

Paler crimson ruby. An attractive bouquet of medium intensity. Plenty of oak here but it is well enough integrated and the quality of the little red fruits, alpine strawberries, is of a high class. Good persistence. Understated as Petite Chapelle usually is. Drink from 2029-2037. Tasted Nov 2023.Degustation
