Le Volnay Fremiet du domaine Marquis d'Angerville est un vin charnu et généreux dont la trame tannique rappelle la proximité de ce terroir avec Pommard. Il est tiré d'une grande parcelle d'un hectare et demi qui repose sur un sol argilo-calcaire très peu profond. Le vin est élevé 15 à 18 mois en fût selon le millésime, avec environ 20% de pièces neuves.

A mid crimson purple colour. Back to a slightly sterner style after the Clos des Angles. Just a little earthy? This wine may have a light touch of the earthy character found in some wines in this vintage. In common with other examples, I prefer not to offer a rating for wines with this character during barrel tastings. It may very well grow out of this stage. Tasted Nov 2024.Degustation
