Der Yacca Block auf dem Gipfel des Menglers Hill liegt nur 25 Fahrminuten von den Western Ranges des Barossa Valley entfernt. Der Boden, eine Mischung aus Quarz und Eisenstein, und die für Australien hohe Lage von 483 müM ermöglichen eine langsame Reifung, die einen sehr weichen und eleganten Shiraz hervorbringt.

The deep, densely colored 2019 Yacca Block Menglers Hill Shiraz starts off with notes of bay leaf and sage, develops luscious dark-fruit notes of blueberries and blackberries, then turns more savory—black olives and licorice—on the finish. It's full-bodied, rich and concentrated yet remains balanced and refreshing on the long finish.
