Ce cabernet sauvignon à production limitée représente l'apogée de la vinification de Chappellet et incarne l'élégante puissance et la complexité du vignoble de Pritchard Hill. Ce vin est le fruit d'un assemblage de cabernet sauvignon et d'autres cépages bordelais classiques, élevé pendant 22 mois dans des fûts de chêne français neufs. Cultivés sur un vignoble rocailleux à flanc de montagne, ce cabernet a une capacité à vieillir pendant plusieurs décennies. Ce vin est opulent et élégant, avec des arômes de violette, cassis, cèdre, d'épices, ainsi qu'avec des notes d'agrumes.

Dense purple-hued, with incredible aromatics of black and blue fruits, camphor, liquid violets, tobacco, and graphite, it has a remarkable sense of opulence in its aromas and flavors and delivers full-bodied richness, a massive mid-palate, building tannins, and a thrilling finish.
