Il est élevé de manière classique, en grands botti de chêne de 25 hectolitres, puis affiné en bouteille. Le Ginestra Casa Matè est un vin d'une grande profondeur, intense, au volume conséquent. Les derniers millésimes dégustés sont superbes!

The Barolo Ginestra Casa Matè is terrific. Deeply pitched spice, menthol and pine overstones give the 2022 its characteristic balsamic notes. Pliant and deep, with stunning balance, the Casa Mate is without question one of the wines of the vintage. Polished, silky tannins and a burst of red-toned fruit ponctuate the finish. This is sublime stuff.
