Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cru Les Perrières der Domaine Ferret ist ein interessanter Chardonnay, dessen cremige Nase mit einem intensiven und mineralischen Geschmack kontrastiert. Er stammt von einem kleinen Weinberg, dessen Rebstöcke etwa 40 Jahre alt sind. Fermentierung und Ausbau finden 9 Monate lang im Holz statt. Vor der Flaschenabfüllung folgt ein fünfmonatiger Aufenthalt in Edelstahltanks.

The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Perrières 1er Cru, which comes from more clay soils, matured in 25% new oak, is finely-tuned on the nose, well-defined with citrus peel, yellow plum and light honeysuckle scents, a hint of chamomile emerging with time. The palate is well-balanced with a fine spine of acidity, one of more "nutty" cuvées from Ferret with a fine touch of bitterness ending tension on the finish. Fine. - NM 06/2023
