The 2022 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru is once again one of the high points of the range chez Faiveley, wafting from the glass with aromas of raspberries, rose petals, Indian spices, blood orange and coniferous forest floor, followed by a full-bodied, ample and layered palate that's cool, concentrated, vibrant and perfumed, concluding with a long, saline finish.Morris
A fine mid crimson. The fruit has a little more body on the nose than the Echezeaux, as should be the case. This has some nuances, and the fruit is a little drier, but this one has the depth which was not always present in some of the others. This is heading in the right direction. Drink from 2030-2038.
