Der Weisswein der Domaine de Chevalier ist frisch, reich und komplex und von grosser aromatischer Reinheit (Zitrusfrüchte, weisse Blüten). Die klassische Assemblage aus Pessac-Léognan (Sauvignon und Semillon) wird über ein Jahr lang in Barriques (30 % neues Holz) ausgebaut und kann und kann mehr als zehn Jahre gelagert werden. Ein herrlicher Wein, der zu edlen Fischen und Meeresfrüchten passt.

The 2023 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is one of the best dry whites of the year. Creamy and expansive, with terrific brightness, this exudes balance. Citrus confit, white pepper, mint, almond, pear and crushed rocks are some of the notes that build as the 2023 shows off its pedigree. Le Sauvignon Blanc couplé à 30% de Sémillon a pour le moins un effet complexifiant ! Outre des notes d'écorces de mandarine, le vin révèle des parfums d'amandes, de fleurs de jasmin et de muguet sans oublier, évidemment, une touche de verveine. En bouche, le vin gère la symbiose entre ampleur, fraîcheur, charme et amertume. Tout me semble bien calé, tout est cohérent et tout est là pour rappeler, si besoin est, que le domaine de Chevalier produit un des meilleurs vins blancs secs de Bordeaux ! - YB 05/2024
