Clos des Papes Weiß ist ein hervorragender Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc; der hohe Anteil an Clairette in der Cuvée verleiht ihm eine grosse Frische sowie eine schöne Struktur, die es ihm ermöglicht, problemlos eine längere Lagerung im Keller zu überstehen. In seiner Jugend grosszügig, gewinnt er nach einigen Jahren der Reifung an Finesse und Komplexität. Er wird etwa sechs Monate in Edelstahltanks ausgebaut und anschliessend in der Flasche verfeinert. Dieser grosse gastronomische Weisswein ist ein weiterer Erfolg von Clos des Papes.

Crafted from six different grape varieties in equal proportions, the 2024 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is exquisite, wafting from the glass with aromas of flowers, herbs, almonds, pear and peach. Medium- to full-bodied, round and sappy, it’s fleshy with a lively core of fruit, terrific mid-palate plenitude and a long, ethereal, somewhat chalky finish lifted by a beautiful bitterness and a saline aftertaste.
