The 2023 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is one of the highlights of the range, unwinding in the glass with notes of citrus zest, crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and iodine. Full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's pure and racy, with good depth at the core and a long, saline finish. It should develop superbly in bottle.Morris
Pale lemon, a sense of authority which makes the Bâtard look like a pugnacious bruiser. The very first sniff suggests a great vintage. It is fully ripe, but it holds itself together, a really beautiful expression, and texture and persistence. Faint liquorice note shows the ripeness but this just absolutely works.
