Der Chapelle-Chambertin von Louis Jadot ist ein reicher und ausgewogener Wein mit frischen Aromen (kleine rote Früchte, Gewürze). Dieser Grand Cru profitiert vom Terroir von Gevrey: ein kalkhaltiger Untergrund, der Kraft verleiht, und eine lehmige Oberfläche, die für Fülle sorgt. Der Pinot Noir wird 18 bis 20 Monate im Fass ausgebaut.

The 2016 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very well-defined bouquet: a melange of red and black fruit, truffle and smoke, gently unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, quite tensile and focused but very precise and fanning out with confidence on the tender finish. As good, if not better than the 2015 Chapelle-Chambertin from Jadot. Drink: 2021-2050.Vinous
The 2016 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has a crisp red cherry and crushed strawberry scented bouquet with just a touch of tomato vine. The oak is nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, a fine bead of acidity, a touch of fleshiness towards the finish with hints of white pepper and clove. This is a complex and persistent Grand Cru that will age with style. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting.
