Mid crimson in colour, with a classy and indeed classic Nuits bouquet of plums and red berries, a little bit of oak, no stems. The oak returns behind, good acidity, medium plus length. A potentially good wine is being held back at the moment by a slight excess of oak, at least in this sample. If and when that recalibrates, we should be in four star territory. Drink from 2028-2033.
