The 2022 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru is brilliant, bursting with aromas of sweet wild berries and cherries mingled with notions of peonies, vine smoke and incense. Full-bodied, layered and unctuous, with a thick but lively core of fruit framed by rich, powdery tannins, it concludes with a broad, saline finish.Morris
Bright crimson purple, with a super-sensual nose. On the palate the sweet strawberry, and raspberry, fruit spreads out, but does not quite have the precision of the finest. This will be delicious, and may tighten up to be very fine. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Oct 2023.Degustation
