Aromas of sweet red berries, plums, peonies and spices introduce the 2021 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, rich and ample wine with a deep core of fruit, sweet structuring tannins and a long, mouthwatering finish. This cuvée is always a strong suit chez Jadot, and this year is no exception.

Concentrated powerful crimson red, with slightly darker raspberry fruit. Quite a good concentration in the middle before the tannins come up behind, along with some acidity. Will become more supple with time. The fruit itself is on the elegant side. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted Oct 2022.
