The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots reveals a gently reductive bouquet of pear, white flowers, toasted nuts and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate that's impressively bright and mineral for such a sunny terroir in so warm a vintage.Morris
A little more yellow in colour. Thee is quite a block of flavour but perhaps not finesse on the nose, while the palate delivers a juicy concentration of fruit which includes yellow plums as well as white apples, and for the moment a little bit of oak: 20% new, 350 litre barrels.
