The A'Bunadh Alba 62.70% ABV corresponds to Batch 5 which is matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Its flavour profile is bolder, richer, slightly more intense than the 58.90% ABV. On the nose: ripe red apple, honey, vanilla, cinnamon. On the palate: reen apple, lemon sherbet, almonds, hone.

“Alba” refers both to Quercus alba (the American white oak used in the casks) and is also the Gaelic name for Scotland—a nice double meaning.
