Der Chambertin Clos de Bèze von Bruno Clair ist eine ideale Verbindung von Raffinesse und Kraft. Das Weingut besitzt eine außergewöhnliche Parzelle, deren größter Teil im Jahr 1912 bepflanzt wurde. Sie erstreckt sich über knapp einen Hektar am oberen Hang. Dieser Grand Cru verfügt über ein großes Reifepotenzial, das ihm ermöglicht, eine bemerkenswerte aromatische Komplexität zu entwickeln.

The 2024 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru has a vigorous and complex bouquet with blackberry, raspberry and subtle marine influences, just a hint of Japanese nori. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet core of cherry and strawberry fruit, orange sorbet and light spicy notes, very cohesive on the finish with more persistence than the Cross Saint-Jacques. A crimson centre with lighter rim. The Clos de Bèze offers that little bit more power while retaining finesse. Crisp and savoury, with a pleasing mid red fruit, but not the most persistent. This has more finesse than Bonnes Mares but less concentration, perhaps just a bit more closed. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2025.Degustation
