The 2019 Echézeaux En Orveaux Grand Cru is one of the few cuvées to includes 25% whole bunch. It has a light, airy bouquet of dark berry fruit, incense and a touch of lavender. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannins on the entry, the stem addition lending quite a strong black pepper note toward the finish, which just feels a little abrupt.Morris
30% whole bunch. One of the lighter colours, but still a full, attractive purple. White marl, without clay or stones. But there is a sweetness of fruit and a tension holding it in place. Perhaps just a mite less precision, less daintiness than some years.Degustation
