Un vin dense et complexe, Dalla Valle Maya est l'une des cuvées phares de Napa Valley, cette région de Californie où l'on trouve les plus grands cabernets sauvignons américains. Dalla Valle a pour particularité d'ajouter environ une moitié de cabernet franc dans son assemblage afin de gagner en précision et en élégance. La cuvée Maya est élevée 22 mois en barriques neuves.

There are 125 cases of the 2021 MDV, a Cabernet Sauvignon drawn from the portion of the vineyard that makes up the Cabernet Sauvignon component of Maya. It's an outstanding effort, with just a hint of cedar accenting black cherries and cassis on the nose. The texture of this full-bodied wine is gorgeous—velvety and plush. It may not have quite the complexity or complete structure of the 100-point 2021 Maya, but it's still terrific stuff—long, composed and elegant on the finish.Vinous

The 2021 Maya Proprietary Red Wine is the usual blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from a single parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon and a selection of Cabernet Franc that will spend 24 months in 80% new French oak. It has a more floral, exotic style in its blue fruits, spring flowers, incense, and peppery herbal nose as well as a stunningly pure, elegant, polished, seamless style on the palate. It's another magical wine in the making from this terroir.
