Le Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert (Jaboulet) est une syrah intense et aromatique aux notes de fruits mûrs, de cuir, dont la bouche concentrée est rafraîchie par une fine trame acide. Les vignes vieilles d'un demi-siècle font partie d'un beau vignoble en plaine qui repose sur un sol caillouteux. Ce vin est élevé 12 mois en fûts (20% de bois neuf).

Medium to full-bodied, it's plummy and rich, creamy and ripe but savory and earthy, not jammy at all, with a lingering, velvety-textured finish. This ripe, medium to full-bodied, silky wine has remarkable purity, is already complex, and finishes with serious length. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.
