The 2024 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru comprises two barrels instead of the usual five with one barrel new. It has fine concentration on the nose in the context of the vintage. The palate is well balanced with ample structure, quite solid tannins but cloaked in layers of pure black cherry and cassis fruit. Very harmonious and poised on the finish that feels very sustained, this is a sophisticated and classy RSV that might even outclass the previous vintage.Morris
A fine ruby purple. A very classy Romanée St-Vivant nose, all in finesse with energy behind, maybe a touch lighter than usual, yet with all the class. Medium-bodied, maybe, but very stylish, with an extremely graceful long pure red fruit finish. Very well done. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2025 by Jasper Morris MW.Degustation
