The 2020 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) is excellent, wafting from the glass with aromas of orange rind, dark berries, cherries, licorice, black truffle and exotic spices. The 2020 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has an intense, multi-faceted bouquet with vivacious black and red berry fruit, quite a noticeable marine/estuarine influence in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, fine acidity, taut and fresh with a harmonious, silky smooth finish. Lovely build in the mouth, this is a very well-crafted Clos-de-Bèze.
