The 2023 Roc de Cambes opens with a super-distinctive, exotic bouquet. Super-ripe black cherry, kirsch, hard candy, chocolate, spice, amaro herbs, menthol and worn-in leather infuse the palate with tremendous depth. More serious and structured than the domaine bottling, the 2023 Roc De Cambes offers up brilliant aromatics of cassis, black raspberries, scorched earth, graphite, and violets on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, has a concentrated, layered mouthfeel, beautiful overall balance, and a great finish. It's going to shine for 15-20 years. Drink 2026-2043.
