Le Muscat Rangen de Thann du domaine Schoffit est ici présenté en Sélection de Grains Nobles. Il s'agit d'un vin doux d'une grande complexité au profil aromatique floral et confit. Le grand cru de Rangen, à Thann, repose sur un terroir volcanique. Il s'agit du vignoble le plus méridional d'Alsace.

Vinous
Fascinating aromas of lime oil and violet, along with the charry Rangen aspect. Dense and superripe, with superb concentration and terrific palate persistence. A fascinating wine made from about 25% rot-ennobled grapes. How often does muscat this ripe retain such freshness and varietal character? Schoffit previously offered a Muscat Rangen SGN in the '95 and '92 vintages, but points out that they were drier wines than this '98, which features 55 grams per liter of residual sugar.
