Le Chapelle Chambertin de Louis Jadot est un vin de garde riche et équilibré au arômes frais (petits fruits rouges, épices). Ce Grand Cru profite du terroir de Gevrey: un sous-sol calcaire qui confère de la puissance et une surface argileuse qui apporte de la rondeur. Ce pinot noir est élevé 18 à 20 mois en barrique.

The 2018 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) lives up to its fine showing in barrel, unwinding in the glass with notes of cherries, red berries and licorice mingled with hints of violets and warm spices. Full-bodied, layered and seamless, with a deep core of fruit, velvety tannins and succulent acids, it's elegant and complete, concluding with a long, mouthwatering finish. The 2018 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very attractive, pure, well-defined bouquet of red cherries, wild strawberry, sous-bois and light orange pith aromas that gain intensity with aeration. The medium-bodied palate displays supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. A little peppery in style, with a touch of brown spice toward the finish. Clear crisp deep red, this shows excellent class on the nose. A little bit of barrel char and even some coffee notes along with the compact sweet red fruit. Medium body plus, yet the old vines have resisted well and delivered a balanced wine with a long finish.Degustation
