Château Nénin est l’expression, selon la famille Delon, d’un grand Pomerol de garde. Il allie en effet puissance et élégance, complexité et équilibre, pureté et raffinement. L’augmentation progressive du Cabernet Franc dans l’Encépagement du vignoble apporte au vin tension, distinction et fraîcheur. Il faut parfois savoir attendre le Grand Vin pour profiter pleinement de sa véritable faculté d’évolution. Comme tout grand Pomerol de garde, Château Nénin s’épanouit avec le temps.

A Merlot-dominant blend complemented by 30% Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Nenin offers up notes of sweet berries and plums framed by creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy, it’s rich and enveloping, with an ample core of fruit and supple structuring tannins. Four hectares on gravel soils adjacent to Trotanoy lend structure, but the 2019 is so polished out of the gates that it might be easy to miss it. - WK 04/2022Vinous
The 2019 Nenin is the first vintage with a wax seal in the bottle, so you have been warned! Apparently the wax is one that does not crumble everywhere. This Pomerol retains the definition and focus that I discerned from barrel, coming across quite energetic with pretty Merlot fruit – raspberry coulis, red currant and hints of black truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins and well-judged acidity, nothing too heavy or dense. A more elegant Nenin compared to previous vintages, with good persistence on the finish. Le bouquet de Nénin se distingue par des notes de griottes, des épices et des nuances mentholées. Bien entendu, la richesse olfactive, respectivement le côté solaire du millésime, ne passe pas inaperçu, mais il est bien encerclé par les autres éléments. Caractère crémeux mais également juteux en bouche. La fraîcheur est bien représentée en bouche également et l'entier du palais s'en retrouve équilibré. Un vin élégant et doté d'une bonne structure. Pas facile d'avoir de la fraîcheur à Pomerol en 2019…. Défi parfaitement relevé par Nénin ! 2025-2044 - YB 12/2021Suckling
A beautiful young red with chocolate, hazelnuts and ripe berries. It’s full-bodied with round, juicy tannins. Mineral character to the wine. Smoky and chocolate notes, too. 70% merlot and 30% cabernet franc. Bright, focused finish. Persistent.
