Le Barolo Vecchie Viti Capalot (e Brunate) de Roberto Voerzio n'est produit qu'en magnum. Tiré de vignes orientées plein sud, il est généralement mis sur le marché un an après les autres vins du domaine. Ce vin offre un profil frais, minéral et nuancé d'une grande profondeur. Le Barolo VV Capalot est élevé 24 mois en barriques (30% de bois neuf), puis affiné 8 mois en cuve inox et 18 mois en bouteille.

The 2009 Barolo Riserva Vecchie Viti dei Capalot e delle Brunate (tasted in magnum) shows deep espresso and coffee notes at the outset that transform to dark fruit and sweet dark fruit. This is a full and generous wine with enormous clarity and power. Starting with the 2010 vintage, it will be called “Barolo Riserva Capalot” and 2011 will be the last year of production.
