Célèbre Premier Cru de Gevrey-Chambertin, le Clos Saint Jacques est seulement exploité par six domaines. Cultivé sur des vignes âgées de 47 à 62 ans, ce vin de de Bruno Clair révèle déjà une noblesse incroyable. Ce premier cru surprend souvent les amateurs de grands Bourgogne car il exprime une complexité très particulière et souvent supérieure aux Grands Crus. La bouche est très typée et puissante. Sa persistance est tout simplement interminable… vin de très grande garde, vous pourrez l’apprécier pendant les 20 prochaines années.

The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has an exquisite bouquet with precise and (again) mineral-driven red fruit that gracefully glide from the glass. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins, quite citrus and like other Gevreys from Bruno Clair there is an underlying blood orange note that defines the finish. Quite strict and linear, this will require some bottle age to just shave its corners.Morris
Crimson straight up, delightful finesse, a beautiful mini Clos St-Jacques, though clearly lighter than some years. The detail shows great refinement, all in detail, with medium length. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Nov 2025.Degustation
