Le Volnay "Chevrets" du domaine Henri Boillot est d'une grande pureté aromatique. Vif et élégant, il offre toutefois une bouche ample et d'une grande générosité (notes de fruits compotés) et repose sur des tannins soyeux. Ce Premier Cru gorgé de fruits voit l'usage de 50% de bois neuf durant son élevage.

Vinous
(from four parcels of vines between 40 and 60 years of age; fruit in the lower section of the vineyard was wiped out by the frost): Healthy medium red. Slightly reduced nose conveys and medicinal dark raspberry aroma. Then fine-grained and graceful in the mouth, conveying an impression of delicacy to the flavors of raspberry, currant and flowers. Finishes quite suave and long, with very refined tannins. The Boillots made just 10 barrels in place of a normal 30, 3 of them new.
