Der Cupole besteht aus den Partien, die nicht für den Tenuta di Trinoro verwendet werden. Die Zusammensetzung variiert stark von Jahr zu Jahr, je nachdem, welche Partien für diese Cuvée ausgewählt werden, aber es sind immer Cabernet und Merlot enthalten. Der Wein wird zunächst 8 Monate lang in Barriques (kein neues Holz) ausgebaut, bevor er für weitere 10 Monate in Zementtanks gelagert wird. Der grosszügige Stil des Cupole di Trinoro wird Liebhaber italienischer Weine ansprechen.

This is a terrific value proposition. The 2019 Le Cupole is a blend of 47% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot. The first vintage was made in 1995, and although these four varieties have been used in the blend since the beginning, the various percentages change according to vintage conditions. This long 2019 growing season was a little more challenging for the late-ripening Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The wine delivers plenty of rich concentration and ripeness, but there is also a pureness to the fruit that happily underscores its cheerful and informal personality. - ML 10/2021Vinous
The 2019 Le Cupole offers a beguiling mix of intense red-fleshed fruit intermingled with sweet floral, spice and citrus notes that lend brightness. Medium in body and silky, the 2019 is one of the most restrained, polished Le Cupoles I can remember tasting. In that sense, it is the total opposite to the much more opulent 2020. - AG 07/2022
