In der Nähe von Beaune, zwischen "Les Grèves" und "Clos de la Mousse" liegt "Les Teurons", bekannt für seine Klasse und Harmonie. Die Lage auf einem kleinen Hügel soll den Ursprung seines Namens erklären, Teurons ist keltisch und bedeutet "der Berg". Bouchard Père & Fils erwarb 1791 eine erste Parzelle, die es 1869 auf eine Fläche von 2,41 Hektar erweiterte. Ausbau: 12 bis 14 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern mit 30 bis 40 % neuen Fässern.

The 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Les Teurons is excellent, revealing notes of red berries, peonies, orange zest and incense, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and precise palate with good depth and cut. This is built to cellar with grace. - WK 01/2024Morris
A dark purple colour. Quite a ripe fruit which could use the cleaning up of a racking, at which time it will have the sulphur adjusted. Dark ripe cherries on the nose. A wealth of fruit at the front end, some tannins but not astringent behind, a dark strawberry fruit to finish. This has the makings of a very good wine once it has finished its elevage and been cleaned up for bottling. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted: October 2023.Degustation
