Le Sancerre Chêne Marchand du domaine Vincent Pinard est un vin blanc de gastronomie, souvent plus riche que les autres parcellaires du domaine. Il est tiré de vignes âgées de 40 ans en moyenne, au rendement faible. L'élevage est réparti sur quatre fûts seulement (50% de bois neuf) et se termine en cuve inox. Chêne Marchand est un beau sauvignon blanc de table.

The 2020 Sancerre Chêne Marchand is initially a tender winewith a mass of concentration packed into an airy, cloud of wine. The wine is held together by a line of acidity and mineral structure providing length and focus. The nettle-suffused finish is slightly spoiled b a note of alcohol that warms on the finish (14%), but that is really picking faults. - RG 07/2022
