Arbois Chardonnay Les Bruyères du domaine Stéphane Tissot repose sur un terroir argileux du Trias - une terre très argileuse sur un sous-sol de marnes bleues. La vigne est conduite en biodynamie. Les Bruyères est un chardonnay très pur et minéral avec des belles arômes de fruits et d'épices et une bouche vive et dense, très concentré avec un léger boisé encore présent.

The phenomenal 2016 Arbois Chardonnay les Bruyères is large and spicy from the clay soils. This spent two years in barrique before it was bottled, and the wine has kept the freshness (the year was fresh). There is a nice balance between reduction and evolution here, and there is depth and volume. This is 13.5% alcohol, very dry and balanced. He likes to bottle just after the harvest because he doesn't like empty barriques, so he takes the wine out during the harvest to use them again and then bottles the wine a little later after the harvest is over. 5,000 bottles produced.
