Vinified with some 20% whole cluster, Faiveley's 2018 Echézeaux En Ourveaux Grand Cru bursts with aromas of wild berries, smoked meats, violets, spices, earthy soil tones and a subtle hint of leather. On the palate, it's full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with attractive energy and structural polish, concluding with a perfumed and delicately sauvage finish.'Morris
Cool chalky clay soil. Exposed south. First year with some whole bunch, 25%. Looking to find more character. There is a delicacy of style for sure, more floral, the whole bunch encouraging me to find a volatility which in fact is not there. Quite complex, no more than medium bodied, but intense.
