Dieser Pinot Noir aus Burgund stammt von ton- und kalkhaltigen Böden, wird mit einem Anteil ganzer Trauben vinifiziert und in Eichenfässern ausgebaut. Er zeigt eine rubinrote Farbe und eine kräftige Nase mit Aromen von dunklen Früchten, mit einem vollen Körper und gut eingebundenen Tanninen. Am Gaumen verbindet er Fruchtintensität, Struktur und Frische, typisch für die Weine aus Gevrey-Chambertin. Es handelt sich um einen Lagerwein, der einige Jahre der Reife benötigt, um sein volles Potenzial zu entfalten.

The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru is reduced to just 300 bottles. Vibrant redcurrant and crushed strawberry on the energetic bouquet, its vigour inverse to its production. The palate is medium-bodied with quite powdery tannins, darker fruit than the Clos du Fonteny with respectable density for a Gevrey in this vintage. There is something assured about this Les Cazetiers that brushes off the travails of the growing season.Morris
Their holding of Belair has been pulled out, so the village Gevrey currently comes from Carougeots with a touch of Jouises. Mid ruby. Some depth to the perfumed strawberry fruit, with good grip behind and just a little spice. I like the staying power on the palate. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Nov 2025.Degustation
