Chambolle-Musigny « Les Charmes » 1er Cru de Bruno Clair est un pinot noir avec une bouche très souple et complexe et des tannins très soyeux. Sol: Argilo-calcaire. Exposition: Est / Sud-est. Vinification: 30 à 50% % de grappes entières, 10 à 15 jours de macération en cuves bois. Elevage: 18 à 20 mois en fûts de chênes. Environ 30% de fûts neufs.

The first sample was from a 2018 barrel which marked the wine a little too much. Mid purple. Riper on the nose and has taken the oak a bit more. Try another one. Much better. A sublime weight of perfectly ripe fruit whereas the other seemed over ripe. Excellent. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted Nov 2023.Degustation
