Produkt

Wineadvocate
The 2017 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) was showing well, displaying aromas of ripe wild berries, cherries, candied peel and dark chocolate framed by some creamy new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely concentrated, with good depth at the core, fine structuring tannins and a long, energetic finish. This numbers among the portfolio's high points this year.Vinous
The 2017 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru offers captivating briar and subtle marine influences on the nose, one of the most nuanced from Jadot this year. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and silky-smooth texture, offering raspberry, wild strawberry, white pepper and touches of sage toward the finish. I suspect this will gain more complexity with bottle age because there is already impressive persistency considering the vintage.Morris
Classy pinot which is now 90-year-old. Always gives its 35 hl/ha. Beautiful pure pink purple, with a nose of great delicacy y and intensity quite floral along with a very elegant fruit. This has a majestic density up at the front, then a slightly firm tannic raft but it will all come together because the weight of the fruit is first rate. Lower acidity but it does not need it. Tasted: November 2018.Degustation
