Le 1er Cru de Nuits-Saint-Georges "Les Saint-Georges" du Domaine Faiveley est un vin harmonieux et élégant, au nez puissant, qui repose sur des tanins souples. Ce pinot d'une belle précision aromatique est élevé 14 à 16 mois en barriques (environ deux-tiers de bois neuf). Déjà planté en l'an 1000, le lieu-dit "Les Saint-Georges" est l'un des plus prestigieux de la commune. Faiveley mise environ 1'400 bouteilles par millésime.

The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges unwinds in the glass with notes of dark berries, orange zest, exotic spices and peonies, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and richly layered palate, its generous core of fruit framed by sweet, powdery tannins. Seamless and complete, it's almost the stylistic opposite of the ethereal Damodes.Morris
Half of the fruit is from the domaine, and half is a regular contract. Rich even purple, with a supple, hedonistic, joyous raspberry fruit and some ripe cherry notes.
