Le Chablis Les Clos de William Fèvre est le plus célèbre des grands crus de l'appellation. Les Clos se distinguent par un terroir orienté plein sud, au sol très dense qui confère à ce vin une structure qui lui permet d'affronter les années. La proportion d'élevage sous bois est la plus importante parmi la gamme de William Fèvre, ce qui aide ce vin à atteindre son remarquable potentiel d'évolution.

The 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is another obvious success, mingling aromas of citrus and citrus confit with hints of beeswax, peach and pear in an inviting bouquet. Full-bodied, muscular and layered, it's textural and fleshy, with a deep and tightly wound core, racy acids and a chalky finish. This is a fine effort that will improve with bottle age, but it is a bit more front-loaded out of the gates than the very fine 2017 rendition. - WK 07/2020Vinous
The 2018 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a powerful, beautifully layered wine. Mint wild flowers and chamomile accents add complexity to the lemon confit fruit. Creamy and ample on the palate, the 2018 is an especially rich Clos endowed with notable textural depth and a real feeling of seamlessness. I loved it.
