Château La Lagune 2015 (Magnum)

Château La Lagune est un Grand Cru Classé du Haut-Médoc dont le vignoble d'un seul tenant s'étend sur 80 hectares. De grands cabernets voient ici le jour, rejoints par du merlot dans un assemblage généreux mis en valeur par un élevage de 18 mois (environ 50% de bois neuf). Le Château La Lagune a fait de grands progrès ces dernières années.

Suckling

Just a hint currant bushl on the nose. This is loaded with healthy tannins on the palate that drive the long finish. Quite an uncompromising young wine that will be better from 2020, but the fundamental harmony is very convincing. Full and flavorful. - JS 02/2018
