Le Gevrey-Chambertin "Corbeaux" du domaine Dugat-Py offre un nez floral et élégant, suivi d'une bouche fruitée, à la mâche généreuse. Cette parcelle de Premier Cru, plantée il y a près de 60 ans, n'est pas mise en bouteille en cuvée parcellair chaque année; c'est donc une occasion rare que de pouvoir la déguster.

The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Corbeaux, raised in new oak with 80% whole bunch fruit, has a similar nose to the Petite-Chapelle; perhaps the fruit here veering more to the red side of the spectrum, touches of blood orange surfacing with time. The palate is quite rich on the entry, finer tannins here than the Petite-Chapelle, and more linear though without the same sustain on the aftertaste. It just needs to show more Pinoté.
