Le Volnay "Caillerets" du domaine Henri Boillot offre un nez explosif aux évocations de fruits noirs et de notes exotiques (cassis, thé, cannelle). La bouche est sensuelle et marquée par la minéralité typique de ce lieu-dit. Cet excellent Premier Cru, tiré d'une parcelle de 0,6 hectare, voit 50% de bois neuf durant son élevage.

A darker crimson colour, and the fruit too has added a darker note. Black raspberries, a little fresher red fruit further back on the palate, concentrated, tannins present but ripe, fair length. Perhaps this could have been picked a couple of days earlier. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted Oct 2024.Degustation
