Der 1er Cru de Nuits-Saint-Georges "Les Saint-Georges" der Domaine Faiveley ist ein harmonischer und eleganter Wein mit einer kräftigen Nase, die auf weichen Tanninen ruht. Dieser Pinot von schöner aromatischer Präzision wird 14 bis 16 Monate in Barriques (etwa zwei Drittel neues Holz) ausgebaut. Die Lage "Les Saint-Georges", die bereits im Jahr 1000 bepflanzt wurde, ist eine der renommiertesten der Gemeinde. Faiveley füllt etwa 1'400 Flaschen pro Jahrgang ab.

The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges unwinds in the glass with notes of dark berries, orange zest, exotic spices and peonies, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and richly layered palate, its generous core of fruit framed by sweet, powdery tannins. Seamless and complete, it's almost the stylistic opposite of the ethereal Damodes.Morris
Half of the fruit is from the domaine, and half is a regular contract. Rich even purple, with a supple, hedonistic, joyous raspberry fruit and some ripe cherry notes.
