Der Vosne-Romanée Les Champs Perdrix von Bruno Clair ist ein Pinot Noir mit komplexem Gaumen und großer Länge. Boden: ton- und kalkhaltig, mit kalkigem Untergrund aus Comblanchien. Lage: ost- bis südostexponiert. Vinifikation: 20 bis 30 % ganze Trauben, 10 bis 15 Tage Maischegärung in Holzcuves. Ausbau: 18 bis 20 Monate in Eichenfässern, davon etwa 30 % neue Fässer.

A light bright ruby purple. The bouquet is quite perfumed but perhaps less evident than En la Rue de Vergy. Now the perfume emerges further. Low pH here which then shows in the liveliness of the palate. Even a little austere to finish. Little red berries. I suspect there is a lot more to come from this wine. Drink from 2029-2036.
