Château Haut-Marbuzet ist ein reicher und charmanter Wein, der eine moderne Interpretation von Saint-Estèphe bietet. Er entsteht auf dem Plateau von Marbuzet, dessen kieseliges Terroir auf einem ton- und kalkhaltigen Untergrund ruht. Der Ausbau erfolgt in neuen Barriques und dauert 18 Monate. Haut-Marbuzet hat sich in den letzten Jahrgängen stark verbessert.

The 2021 Haut-Marbuzet has turned out nicely, wafting from the glass with aromas of dark berries, cigar wrapper and vanilla pod, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy palate that's suave and layered, with a succulent core of fruit framed by powdery tannins. The 2021 Haut-Marbuzet is another fabulous wine from the Duboscq family. Potent and layered, with terrific precision, Haut-Marbuzet is loaded with personality. Red-fleshed fruit, blood orange, hard candy, mint and rose petal come alive in the glass. The 2021 possesses striking inner sweetness and terrific balance. I loved it. - AG 04/2022

Que de complexité et de puissance dans ce vin. Il joue sur de nombreux tableaux en se profilant tantôt de manière subtile et tantôt de manière vigoureuse. Les innombrables nuances olfactives plaident pour sa subtilité avec, entre autres, des nuances de poivre de Sichuan, de menthe poivrée, de myrtilles et de graphite. Friand et de bonne densité, le vin dispose de tannins certes anguleux mais en phase avec la tension de la structure acide. Un vin qui ne révèle de loin pas tous ses secrets, mais qui affiche clairement ses ambitions. 2027-2047 - YB 02/2024
