Aile d'Argent, der Weisswein des Château Mouton Rothschild, ist eine Assemblage aus Sauvignon Blanc (53%), Sémillon (35%), Sauvignon Gris (11%) und Muscadelle (1%). Der Wein wird zu 50% in neuen Eichenfässern ausgebaut. Aile d'Argent ist reich, komplex und elegant zugleich. Obwohl er nur in sehr kleinen Mengen produziert wird, ist er in wenigen Jahren zu einer Referenz für Liebhaber grosser trockener weisser Bordeaux-Weine geworden.

Harvested in the month of August, the 2022 Aile d'Argent bursts with aromas of gooseberries, white flowers, lime zest and mango. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's a bright, fleshy Sauvignon Blanc-dominant blend that concludes with a saline finish. - WK 04/2023

Belle intensité du bouquet au travers de nuances de poires et d'agrumes complétées par une touche tropicale. Le vin a de la richesse, mais également de la vigueur, même un peu de salinité. Another impressive Bordeaux Blanc from the Médoc, the 2022 Château Mouton Rothschild Aile D'Argent Blanc is based on 52% Sauvignon Blanc, 39% Sémillon, 8% Sauvignon Gris, and the rest Muscadelle. Still aging in 45% new oak, it has a ripe, tropical nose of minty herbs, exotic flowers, and assorted citrus and melon-like fruits. It's clean, vibrant, and medium-bodied, with bright acidity and a great finish. - 05/2023
