The 2021 Les Pagodes de Cos is a strong effort, offering up aromas of cassis, charcoal, dark berries and cigar wrapper, followed by a medium to full-bodied, sweet and fleshy palate that's quite rich and extracted, concluding with a saline finish. Pagodes se dessine de manière posée et sérieuse. Il révèle d'invitantes notes fruitées marquées par des parfums de cassis tandis que des notes épicées et un peu d'élevage soulignent la pluralité. En bouche le vin affiche de la fraîcheur tout en étant porté par des tannins puissants et quelque peu austères. La structure acide contrecarre quelque la mainmise tannique.
