The 2019 Gazin is a fleshy, dramatic wine that wafts from the glass with aromas of ripe berry fruit mingled with subtle hints of truffle and violets, its new oak already entirely integrated. Vinous

The 2019 Gazin has a convincing, perfumed nose of beautifully defined red fruit, light estuarine aromas, touches of crushed stone and even a hint of fig. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit. There is very good depth and substance here, and veins of dark chocolate and allspice toward the finish. The only minor quibble is that it needs a little more finesse. But it is a superb Gazin and a great Pomerol. - NM / 02-2022

Beck

Superbe bouquet qui parvient à si bien créer la symbiose entre moult éléments. Ainsi, il présente des nuances qui oscillent entre fraîcheur et richesse, entre réglisse et chocolat noir ou pain d'épices et mûres ! En bouche le vin brille de son aptitude à assurer un parfait équilibre entre charme et fraîcheur. Ses tannins sont compacts et parfaitement intégrés tandis que l'expression aromatique est encore quelque peu en retrait, mais au vu de la substance présente, le vin dispose de suffisamment de temps pour compléter sa pluralité. 2025-2045 - YB 12/2021

Suckling

A perfumed nose of mulberries, plums, chocolate orange and cloves. Hints of toffee, too. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, ripe tannins. Caressing, velvety and rich core of dark fruit. So supple and polished. 88.5% merlot, 7% cabernet sauvignon and 4.5% cabernet franc. Drink after 2024.
