Château Beychevelle ist ein Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Julien und eines der schönsten Schlösser Frankreichs. Der 90 Hektaren grosse Weinberg liegt im Südosten der Appellation und ist überwiegend mit Cabernet Sauvignon estockt, dessen Rebstöcke etwa 30 Jahre alt sind. Château Beychevelle ist ein traditioneller Saint-Julien, ein charaktervoller Wein, der 18 Monate in Fässern (50 % neues Holz) ausgebaut wird.

The 2021 Beychevelle is elegant, understated and classy. Medium in body and less overt than most recent years, the 2021 is impeccably balanced from start to finish. Encore bien marqué par son élevage, Beychevelle ne manque pas de faire valoir des arguments invitants, par exemple avec des nuances de cacao couplées à des parfums de baies noires. Doté de tannins crémeux et légèrement suaves, le vin cumule charme et densité.
